okka Terms of Use

These terms apply to okka Turkish Card Games ("okka"), published by ninefold. By downloading or using okka you agree to them. If you got it from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's terms prevail for the licence itself.
1. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use okka on devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store or Google Play rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute okka, except as the law allows.
2. Chips, items and okka Club
okka offers chip packs (one-time purchases) and the okka Club subscription (monthly or yearly) through in-app purchases. The name, contents, length and price of each option are shown in the app before you buy; prices may vary by country and include applicable taxes. Chip packs are a single payment and do not renew; chips are credited to your account the moment you buy them. Purchases are tied to your store account; okka Club can be restored on your other devices.
App Store
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price unless we told you about a change in advance.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
Google Play
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
3. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its policy: Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (Google Play refunds). We can't issue refunds ourselves. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
4. Virtual items
Chips, items, badges and other in-game items are virtual. They have no monetary value, can't be exchanged for money, prizes or anything of value outside the app, can't be sold between accounts and are lost if your account is deleted. Players can send each other small in-game gifts with chips at a table; apart from that, chips and items can't be transferred between accounts. We may change the chips economy, rewards and item catalogue. okka does not offer real-money gambling and does not pay out real money or material prizes.
5. Fair play
Game rules, card dealing, dice and tile draws run on the server and are generated randomly; the same rules apply to every player. At live tables, empty seats or the seats of disconnected players may be filled by computer players. A player who leaves a table or does not return within the time limit loses their stake in that hand. Cheating, automation, multiple accounts, account sharing and exploiting bugs are forbidden; accounts found doing so may be restricted or closed without notice and their chips cancelled.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use the app for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful.
- Don't try to break, overload, bypass the security of or reverse-engineer the app or our services.
- Don't impersonate others or use someone else's account.
- Don't cheat, use bots or exploit bugs; report bugs to us instead.
7. Content you post
In okka you share content such as table and coffeehouse chat, your nickname, avatar and coffeehouse name, and you talk to other players. You keep ownership of your content and give us a licence to relay it and show it to the people you share it with, only to run the service. You must not post content that is:
- illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening or sexually explicit;
- spam, scams or advertising that wasn't agreed;
- someone else's private information, or content you don't have the rights to.
You can report and block players in the app. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without notice.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is"; we don't guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using okka, delete it and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms; chips are not refunded in that case. The service may be paused for maintenance or technical reasons. Sections on liability, governing law and content licences survive termination.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
